Speckled trout fishing is the main draw in summer, and hiking and water excursions are another great way to discover this rich, unspoiled wilderness. Such a delight in winter, too, with exceptional snowfall amounts of up to 6 meters. For early risers: Dawn is the time to watch the wildlife… whatever the season.

If you love adventure and the great outdoors, come out and ride through the Pourvoirie’s wilderness expanse and the surrounding areas. Start early and get out on the trails more often!

Québec’s longest snowmobiling season and biggest snowfalls happen right here in the Charlevoix region. The Pourvoirie du Lac-Moreau welcomes enthusiasts of this exciting sport, who come here for the ideal conditions.

At the height of the season, the landscape may be thickly blanketed in snow – as much as 6 meters.

Off-trail snowmobiling
The more adventurous snowmobilers can go off-trail, deep into nature, to live the real Québec experience. Come out and explore the vast, unspoiled wilderness spaces of the Pourvoirie and Zec des Martres (300 km² of untrammelled snow), ride past frozen lakes and enjoy an unsullied winter landscape.

The Pourvoirie is the place to be!

The Pourvoirie du Lac-Moreau welcomes those who love ATVs.

Practitioners of this exciting sport will find ideal conditions here! Our well-marked trails connect to the network created by the Grand Charlevoix ATV Club, and, taken together, they provide access to unique forest sites featuring magnificent views of the region, from the heights.

  • Restricted access during hunting season (mid-September to October 31)
  • Easy access for trailers
  • Safe on-site parking for trailers and ATVs
  • More than 150 km of trails set up and marked on Pourvoirie property
  • Access to 300 km of trails set up, marked and maintained by the Grand Charlevoix ATV club
  • ATV and equipment rental (clothing, helmets)
  • Experienced guides

 

Reserve early! The equipment needed for guided excursions is rented out. The earlier you book your activities, the better your chances of finding a guide available.

A WARM, FRIENDLY INN AND SATISFYING MEALS

Stay at the Auberge du Ravage for a few days and enjoy all the pleasures of the Pourvoirie wilderness, in either winter or summer. The enchanting Auberge site, fronting des Bouleaux Lake, is a warm, inviting stop that’s greatly appreciated by snowmobilers and ATVs enthusiasts… less than 17 km from the province’s Trail #83. 

All of the equipment a beginner would need is available for rent, and you can also retain a guide to accompany you. Enjoy the pleasures of snowmobiling or ATVing, while friends and family drive up to the Auberge to join you.

The architecture and landscaping at the Auberge were designed with one goal in mind: to provide you with a choice of friendly, inviting spaces, and others that afford you privacy.
